GR 113808 is a potent, reversible, and selective 5-HT4 receptor antagonist that blocks the binding of serotonin to its receptors. It is used in the treatment of carcinoid syndrome and has been shown to inhibit tumor growth by inhibiting cyclase activity. GR 113808 also inhibits the binding of acetylcholine to α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, reducing cholinergic transmission.
